Even mommies need to form a rock band every once in a while...
Last Saturday, our friends Kacey and Brian hosted the February Sacramento Cooking Claque at their house. Every month is a new theme and this one was VERY creative: Rock Band. Each person had to bring a food item that reminded them of a rock band. For example, I made "Red Hot Chili Pepper Pasta"; Tam & Red brought "Love Bites" - heart-shaped savory crepes. Kacey made delicious doughnuts, in honor of The Police. Very clever. There were several other imaginative dishes and after a delicious meal, we played Rock Band on the X-Box. It was a blast! Despite my decided lack of musical ability (both vocal and instrumental), I was mildly successful playing the bass on Rock Band. It helps that I was on the "easy" mode.

Jeff rocks!
