On Friday, we spent a fun morning at the Folsom Zoo Sanctuary. We met up with our friends and had our fill of tigers, bears, and peacocks. (I've previously discussed the Folsom Zoo here.)
Then, we rode the 12-inch gauge steam engine railroad just a stone's throw from the zoo.
To end our morning, we had snack and playtime at the Folsom City Park, which is right next to the zoo. One of the park maintenance workers had a nice chat with us about this weekend's Folsom Rodeo, which looks to be really fun.
This really is a great little day trip with something for everyone.
